Crisp, vintage and cottagey. The original 1940s kitchen was tiny. We opened the dining room to the kitchen, giving breathing room to both spaces and providing a much-needed island for the cooktop and work surface. Connecting the dining and kitchen gave this new family of five all the room they needed to be together.
