Curvy Kitchens
You’ve probably seen curved lines trending in furniture design. We love how the trend translated into this feminine pink kitchen. From the barstools to the light fixtures, adding lots of curved lines with hints of soft, complementing colors results in a whimsical yet sophisticated feel.
Vibrant Kitchen Islands (and Cabinets!)
Try painting your kitchen island and cabinets a striking color like this pale blue. Notice how it stands out and contrasts against the neutral walls. Plus, it brings joy to the space, acting as a bright spot amid stainless-steel appliances and traditional hardwood floors.
Modern Black
This project actually incorporates two kitchen trends. A mix of dark and light cabinets and countertops is a classic combination that is nostalgic and timeless. Not to mention that it is easy on the eyes, providing a sleek contrast that feels like it came together seamlessly. Also, the combination of light floors with painted cabinets is trend we are seeing more of today.
Copper Highlights
Add a touch of coziness and a sense of rustic sophistication with copper accents. If you love vintage or antique styles, copper adds the character and style you are looking for.
Natural Wood Accents
While stained and painted woods are popular, we also love seeing wood in its natural state. Pretty wooden accents that feel original to the house are another way to test the waters with wood. It will bring warmth to any kitchen space, especially a classic white one!
Glass Cabinets
Opt for some glass cabinets to contrast against other traditional ones. The glass doors in this particular space put a stunning liquor collection on display. Additional space and functionality are always a plus — especially in a kitchen used for family gatherings and entertaining guests.
The kitchen is the most utilitarian room in the house, so it’s okay to obsess over the appliances, colors, and accent pieces. As the most-used room in the house, subtle touches such as bar stools, decorative hardware, and color are extra important. Implement these trends in your own home!
