This vibrant renovation project perfectly captured our client’s love of color and global adventures while accommodating their active family lifestyle. Spaces were designed to celebrate their unique aesthetic while maximizing both storage and function throughout the home.  Bold choices define the character of this home, from the unexpected dark and moody powder room wallpaper to the strategic use of pink in the dining room, where limited wall space allowed us to make a powerful visual statement without overwhelming the intimate space. The cinnamon-colored dining room rug grounds the vibrant wall palette, while a whimsical crystal chandelier with clustered spheres adds sculptural interest and catches light from two glass walls framing the terraced landscape. Carefully selected wallpaper, tile and light fixtures serve as living artwork in every room, introducing rich texture and visual interest that keeps the design feeling fresh and dynamic.  Among the standout spaces are the kitchen with its elegant brass accents in the hood, sink and light fixtures, and the green quartzite repeated on the kitchen island, fireplace, dining room, primary bath and office.  The two peacock-colored bathrooms for the family’s teenage daughters act as jewel boxes that reflect the girl’s personality and style.  The garage, positioned higher on the hill than the main house, was painted in a rich dark tone to create a sophisticated backdrop for the landscaping and allows the home’s architecture to take center stage.  This home now has the perfect balance of bold style and practical function, creating a backdrop for this family’s colorful life and cherished collections.
