Make a statement.
Fabric is the first consideration when choosing curtains. Velvet curtains block a lot of light and provide a high level of privacy, but they also add texture and dimension to the design. Here, the bright shade of blue stands in contrast to the grey and white bathroom design.
Pay attention to height.
For an untrained eye, curtain placement can be tricky. Hung too high or too low, curtains can negatively impact the design. When many think of patterned curtains, our grandmother’s florals come to mind. Thankfully, this is not the only option for a personality-filled fabric.
