If there is any space in our home that we have spent time in over the last few years, it’s the home bar. This particular part of the home has become a go-to spot for both unwinding after a long day with a glass of wine or classic cocktail and hosting parties in your home.

Because they’re smaller in size, home bars are a great space to go all out with color and pattern, from painting the cabinetry in an unexpected shade to covering the walls in a statement wallpaper. They are also a great place to try out a new style!

Whether you’re ready to upgrade from a bar cart to a full-blown home bar, searching for the perfect paint color, looking to create an outdoor bar space, or interested in unique small space design ideas, these home bars from our recent projects are sure to inspire.

The Bohemian Bar

In this Nashville loft, the bar’s design honors the home’s historic and industrial roots. Dark wood shelving, exposed brick walls, and black cabinetry are brightened with warm brass hardware.

The Outdoor Bar

This unique wet bar features vibrant blue-green walls, quartz countertops, and dark wood touches on the cabinets and is the perfect place to entertain. The windows open to the outside kitchen and hangout area, which provides an aesthetic and practical flow between the spaces.

This bar setup makes for a great spot to hang out with friends.

The Retro Bar

In this home bar design, the glass shelves make room for delicate and feminine wallpaper. The white and pink accessories are the perfect balance against the eccentric background.

Curved lines, hints of mid-century design, and soft complementing colors were the focus of this feminine home renovation.

The Contemporary Bar

Form meets function for this home bar with its eye-catching tile and open shelving. The visually appealing setup beautifully displays the owners’ collection of libations, beckoning guests to grab a drink.
