HISTORIC EDGEFIELD, 1880s TRANSITIONAL VICTORIAN: KITCHEN AND BATH REMODEL

The only thing that remains in this Victorian after our renovation was the original footprint. In the kitchen, clever placement of large windows and an exterior door visually expanded the kitchen to include the homeowner’s well-maintained gardens.  Every cubic foot was utilized to maximize the full potential of this kitchen and the reconfiguration created five specific work zones.  In the bathroom, it all began with the tub.  The clawfoot tub was original to the home and loved by the homeowners but in dire need of restoration.  The bathroom layout was reworked, the tub was restored and a shower was added to improve functionality and all was right in this space.  Both a kitchen and master bath renovation is any homeowners dream!
