Karrie cannot remember a time in her life when she wasn’t responding to the environment around her. She realized at a very early age that changing your personal surroundings can have a major impact on your emotions and well being.
Karrie began her educational journey at Belmont University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with an Art History emphasis. After contemplating her career destination, Karrie returned to the world of academia and attended Middle Tennessee State University where she graduated, in 2006, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design.
After working for a commercial design firm, Karrie followed her instincts and moved to residential design. She was attracted to BHD’s dedication to clean lines and functional practicality. Karrie is an allied member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers).
Her hobbies include reading, travel, camping and knitting.
