But recently, we’ve seen an increase in elaborate patterns, including tongue-in-cheek prints that are sure to make you smile every time you enter the room. ‘Modern Florals’
Proof that floral wallpaper can be deliciously modern, we used a bold print as the backdrop for otherwise simple, clean lines in this powder room. If not for the pop of hot pink stems that snake throughout the pattern, the color scheme could be considered neutral. And because the wallpaper is a work of art unto itself, the room required very few additional accessories.
A bathroom is a great way to dip your toe into the colorful wallpaper trend without making too great a commitment.
‘Playful Pastels’
Though not technically wallpaper, the mural in this playful West Meade bathroom makes us think of fresh spring weather. Our clients commissioned a friend and local artist to paint it, resulting in a whimsical scene full of sherbet shades.
Reminiscent of a sunny spring day, this bathroom mural could infuse a little cheer into even the most stressful week.
‘Botanical Bedroom’
This bedroom’s accent wall serves as a fun visual focal point, with the blue tree-patterned wallpaper adding instant color, pattern, and texture to the space. The impact it adds is both fun and fabulous, and the striking use of pattern, print, and color juxtaposed with the industrial brick wall does not go unnoticed.
This bedroom required very few additional accessories, as the tree-patterned wallpaper already serves as a beautiful piece of art.

Scenic landscapes, intricate floral motifs, and other detailed wallpaper designs deliver visual interest and whimsy to walls. Instead of repeating a pattern or print, wallpaper patterns can also depict a specific scene, such as a lively garden or gorgeous landscape — as evidenced in this powder room.
